From 2nd October, National Institute of Communications and Technology’s ICT Testbed Research and Development Promotion Center　has started a new service “IoT Gateway.” The service is aiming to deliver an easy access to our Testbed environment. We have established this service to help researchers conduct demonstration experiments in various situation.

We have ready to lend preconfigured VPN access routers that can be connected to our Testbed environment. By using these preconfigured routers, a user can have an easy access to the Testbed environment and safely transmit data using various communication methods such as an internet connection. On the Testbed environment, we also installed resources and storages which can be assigned to each user. We use SDN multi-slicing technology which enables user’s data transmission to be logically separated. We also have Raspberry Pi as sensor housing machines that are available for lending if desired.
