JGN2 SYMPOSIUM 2005 in Osaka




The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) started JGN2, an R&D testbed network, in April 2004. We will be holding JGN2 Symposium 2005 in Osaka on January 17-19, 2005, to offer a better understanding of activities on JGN2 and promote the sharing of information among concerned researchers and communities. Through lectures, panel discussions, and so forth, the symposium will offer wide-ranging information on research activities on JGN2, measures toward utilizing JGN2 in respective regions, and international cooperation through the JGN2 Japan-U.S. Line. We are looking forward to seeing many of you at the symposium. There also will be panel exhibitions and demonstration exhibitions at the symposium, which will provide information on NICT activities and research utilizing JGN2.


				There was a panel exhibition on January 17 and 18 in event halls C and D of the Osaka International Convention Center which was the venue of the symposium. The exhibition provided visitors with information on research and case examples by respective research institutions.

				There was a demonstration exhibition on January 17 and 18 in event halls C, D, and E of the Osaka International Convention Center, which was the venue of the symposium. Demonstrations were given and research equipment materials were exhibited alongside information on the research and development results of respective research institutions.
