About JOSE

JOSE -Large Scale IoT Service Testbed- supports technical verification of IoT technology, and it is a testbed consists of data centers and various sensors, and connects them.

It is possible to build a secure experimental environment for field demonstration and possible to experiment new IoT technologies that use distributed clouds and sensors.

Overview of JOSE Services

Support for verification and field demonstration of IoT related technologies that use a large number of computer resources.

JOSE (Japan-wide Orchestrated Smart/Sensor Environment) provides testbed services that allows you to use network and cloud facilities across multiple data centers in Japan. It is possible to verify new IoT technology uses distributed cloud, and build a secure experimental environment for the field experiments with easy steps.

Nationwide Test Environment

The total of 1,250 computers (up to 20,000 virtual machines) are running at five data centers in Japan. Each computer has a network connection at up to 10Gbps.

Features of JOSE
Easy deployment

With JOSE, we will provide a general-purpose Linus operating system (physical machine / virtual machine / container) that has completed network connectivity, security settings and software settings is available over the internet.

ICT infrastructure with high performance

JOSE consists of a large number of computers and large-capacity storages that connected by broadband networks (max 100Gbps), therefore it is possible to build a high-performance ICT environment. The configuration of connecting the network and computer can be changed flexibly and quickly using JOSE's SDI (Software Defined Infrastructure) function.

Security

We provide a virtualized dedicated network and an environment where multiple computers are available. The environment is secure and independent, and separated from other users.

Free customization

Users can freely customize their assigned environment. You can build your own system that connects sensors to the network and handles processing of analysis.
