Testbed environment with terabit level optical transmission
About the services
Providing flexible connections suit to various types of tests
We have optical fiber connections between NICT access points (Koganei – Otemachi – Tokyo University) and provide Optical Testbed environment with terabit level transmission. Patch panels are installed at each access points and it is flexible to change optical fiber connections, therefore, researchers can use it for various types of R&D experiments.
Service Environment
1. NICT Koganei to NICT Otemachi
Single mode optical fiber : 18 cables
2. NICT Otemachi to JGN Otemachi
Single mode optical fiber : 8 cables
3. NICT Otemachi to Tokyo University
Single mode optical fiber : 2 cables
